Caremark (Sutton) win big at bfa HSBC Franchise Awards 2017!
Last night, professionals from across the franchise sector came together to celebrate the best of the best at the bfa HSBC Franchise awards. Hannah Drury, Operations Director of Caremark (Sutton) was awarded both bfa Young Franchisee of the Year 2017 and bfa HSBC Franchisee of the Year 2017, at the awards ceremony held at the ICC Birmingham.
Hannah was joined by her mother and fellow franchisee Debbie Binner, alongside members of the Caremark Ltd Head Office team including CEO Kevin Lewis, Managing Director Anne O’Rourke, and National Operations Manager Liz Bosley-Sharpe. The team were thrilled when Hannah won her category of ‘Young Franchisee of the Year’, and even more so when their peers in the audience voted for Hannah to win the overall award too.
Continued success at the bfa HSBC Franchise AwardsWhen she was announced as a finalist, Hannah commented, “I’m thrilled to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. I chose not to go to University, instead starting my career through franchising and combining it with studying for a degree through the Open University.
“As a young Mum this path has also given me the flexibility to meet my family obligations. Running a business is tough, but hugely rewarding. The buck really stops at me! Working in an industry I really care about – healthcare – really helps. My business is built on a clear ethos of integrity, excellence and teamwork.
“At 25 I already have extensive hands-on business experience; I think that this is a brilliant start in life. I’m hugely ambitious and have clear targets for the future. I’m also looking to diversify into other areas.
“It is fantastic to have outside recognition for my progress so far.”
This is a fantastic achievement and the second time Caremark has scooped both awards, with Janis Anderson from (Aylesbury & Wycombe) winning both in 2013, as well as Charles Folkes (Redcar & Cleveland) being a finalist twice for the Olderpreneur category. The bfa HSBC Franchise awards take into account where the franchisee has gone above and beyond for their franchise network, how they have innovated and whether they provide exceptional customer service.
